Forklift Operator

Pinellas Park, FL

Contech is seeking a Forklift Operator at our plant in Charlotte, NC.This is a full time opportunity, with comprehensive health insurance, paid time off during the first year of employment, and 401(k).

Primary Responsibilities

• Receives instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
• Adheres to Contech’s Employee Expectations
• Completes Pre shift daily audit and maintains forklift daily safety checklist. 
• Comply with Next Level Quality Assurance Program at all times.
• Operates forklift to empty departments of finished product and move to their specified locations.
• Operates forklift to build loads and complete paperwork for each load.
• Operates forklift to load and unload in accordance with Contech’s Loading/Unloading Guide.
• Assist customers with their orders.
• Prepares lumber for dunnage use, operates saws and nail guns.
• Fuels and maintains forklift.
• Completes Post shift daily audit and Parks forklift in designated area at the end of each day
• Records and turns in production as required.
• Keep yard area in neat and orderly condition (strapping, boards, stringers etc.)
• Other duties assigned.

Requirements

• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Manufacturing, production or distribution experience.

• Certification on forklift operation, industrial forklift a plus. (preferred)
