Job Summary

The Manager of Event Marketing will have a primary role in developing and implementing a strategic tradeshow and special events calendar for purposes of building relationships with prospects, generating project leads, and deepening engagements with current customers.


Primary Responsibilities

  1. Work collaboratively with Product Managers and Sales Teams to plan and execute annual tradeshow calendar of approximately 23 national tradeshows annually.
  2. Responsible for all aspects of the tradeshows including booth design, speaking proposals, presentations, associated client entertainment, on-site giveaways, booth duty scheduling, post-event evaluations, communications, etc.
  3. Tracking and reporting leads captured at tradeshows.  
  4. Manage vendor relationships including selection, SOW, billing, etc.  
  5. Ensure a consistent corporate and brand image throughout all aspects of a tradeshow including booth design, presentations, etc.
  6. Attend the larger tradeshows and provide onsite support as necessary.
  7. Evaluate and make recommendations to enhance tradeshow approach to maximize ROI and reputational considerations.
  8. Effectively manage the tradeshow budget spend and forecasting.
  9. Support Sales and the regional administration with executing regional tradeshows.
  10. Work collaboratively with Product Managers and Sales Teams to plan and execute Webinars for virtual presentations.
  11. Partner with the Sales to plan and execute on-site seminars, including partnering with venues to plan events and managing the invitation process through email marketing workflows.
  12. Assist the Director of Corporate Marketing with developing Marketing content i.e., advertising plans, collateral, and newsletters for Imbrium Systems.
  13. Assist the Director of Corporate Marketing with special projects as needed.


Required Minimum Education

Bachelor’s Degree

Required Major/Focus:  Marketing or Communication

Preferred Education:

Combination of post-secondary education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree.


Required Qualifications:

  1. Minimum or 3-5 years of experience in event management/tradeshow management is required with experience prioritizing and evaluating success.
  2. Budget and project management experience is required.
  3. Strong oral and written communications skills.
  4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  6. Must be able to work in a team environment with the ability to collaborate.
  7. Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  8. Experience with Go-To-Webinar, Hubspot, and Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
