Job Summary

The Project Coordinator serves as the primary customer support and service contact for Contech’s stormwater filtration products. The project coordinator is responsible for customer support and scheduling from order through completion of maintenance contract.    

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, and track outstanding activation and warranty maintenance services with customer and field service teams.
• Track and manage multiple project related deadlines, ensuring work is completed in a timely manner and meets performance standards.
• Serves as the regionalized resource for information and problem- regarding all activation and warranty maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with all necessary internal customers including, but not limited to, Corporate Finance, Field Operations and Regional Stormwater Plants.
• Coordinate with outside contractors regarding post sales activities for selected stormwater products.
• Maintain project records, documentation and data in Merlin (CRM), Excel and Access databases.
• Directly facilitate customer requests for activation and warranty maintenance of designated stormwater products in assigned territory.
• Perform site plan review to identify specified products and define product attributes, quantities, and geographic data relevant to field work to be performed.
• Develop and maintain regional vendor pricing in conjunction with Field Operations Manager.
• Generate purchase orders and review invoices for accuracy and payment.
• Provide customer support and vendor oversight via close telephone contact through completion of warranty maintenance activities.
• Occasionally participate in field training, jobsite audits and offsite meetings as needed.
• Effectively communicate, both written and oral, with external customers and 3rd party contractors.
• Responsible for coordinating and managing all Research & Development maintenance activities within assigned territory.
• Other duties assigned.

Minimum Education

Required minimum education:    4 Year / Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Major/Focus:  Engineering or Business

•  Combination of post-secondary education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

Qualifications

Required:

• 2-years of related work experience in construction, manufacturing, industrial or engineering customer service, order entry and sales
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills with internal and external customers at all levels of the organization providing courteous, timely and accurate information.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated analytical competencies in basic math skills. Technical aptitude with respect to civil site plans and specifications a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems involving several variables while operating in a dynamic, fluid, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and to prioritize situations requiring urgent attention is critical. Time management and organization skills are required.
• Requires ability to read and comprehend documents including customer orders, price lists, training and procedural manuals.
• Demonstrated competencies in computer software (MS Office, CRM Database).
• Experience in construction, product sales, or manufacturing in an inside or outside sales role a plus. Prior customer support on complex products preferred.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new concepts, processes and product information.

1. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
