QUIKRETE, parent company of Contech Engineered Solutions, is seeking a full time Analyst at our corporate headquarters in Atlanta, GA.  The position will involve department support activities to assist in the purchasing of raw materials and packaging for QUIKRETE’s manufacturing operations. The selected candidate will be assigned specific commodity and sourcing analytical responsibilities to be performed in a timely manner, in accordance with company policy.  He or she will work closely with our procurement staff and other office personnel. Teamwork with company managers and peers is a must.

JOB SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Analyst provides leadership for information generation, automation and analysis within strategic sourcing and material management functions.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops,implements and maintains processes and/or routines that drive automation and information flow to internal customers
  • Analyzes information and provides recommendations and reports, with some reports having specific timetables.
  • Interfaces with othe departments as needed when mining new information and developing reports.
  • Maintains company and department records related to data used and reports generated
  • Develops ad-hoc reports as directed.
  • Backs up others within the department as assigned.
  • Performs unique tasks as assigned by their manager.
  • Processes workload in an expeditious fashion
  • Other duties as assigned

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION

4-year Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field

  • Combination of post-secondary education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of three years of purchasing related experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft products, specifically Excel, Access and PowerBI
  • Sequel Server experience
  • An equivalend combination of training, education and experience which would provide the required knowledge and abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manipulate data into information for management decision making
  • New system implementation experience
  • Six Sigma/Lean Certification
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
