Production Planner - Alexandria, MN

Location: Alexandria, MN

Contech Engineered Solutions is hiring a Production Planner in our Alexandria, MN location.  The Production Planner quotes, sources and purchases all material for production, manages inventory, posts material to projects and generates multiple reports for the Truss team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Receives project drawings, cutlists and schedules from plant supervision & engineering.
• Order material
• Source quotes from vendors.
• Raise purchase orders & receive material.
• Manage Quarterly, Monthly & Weekly Inventory Count
• Post material usage to projects
• Prepare project closeouts
• Adheres to Contech’s Employee Expectations
• Other duties assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Willingness and flexibility to accommodate frequent changes in your daily schedule.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well with vendors, internal and external customers

Preferred Qualifications:

• College degree or a combination of post-secondary education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience working with an ERP system.
• Experience working with raw steel material.
